The court cards use Daughter-Son-Mother-Father as the names instead of the more common Page-Knight-Queen-King pattern. With The Wild Unknown, I always end up looking at the situation from a different perspective – something far outside my normal patterns.

As a whole, the image makes me think of the Collective Conscious, the Eye in the Sky, Universal Energy that we all have access to. The satiny non-reflective surface on the cards, guidebook, card box, and box set have a touch of luxury about them. Instead of avoiding difficulties, The Chariot challenges you to be like the horse in this card and face challenges directly. Nurturing is the hardest thing for me because I have never known kindness or nurturing and this reminds me that I am worthy and majestic and I have so much to offer life. I particularly enjoyed this mental puzzle-fitting process as it forced me to really study each card and relate it to what I already know about the traditional card meanings.These stories, symbols, and images help when you are first learning and remembering the meanings of the cards.
