The Season 12 and 19 releases matched that of the UK Collectors Edition releases, minus the J-card, which was slightly different. Subsequent releases, starting with season 18, were put out in a slipcase style, with a grey sleeve replacing the interior card case, resulting in a loss of several pieces of artwork. Available for the first time are also movie-length editions of ‘ Day of the Daleks‘ and ‘ The Sea Devils‘ from repeat screenings for if you prefer to watch these stories without all the titles and credits. Also DVD versions of multiple stories are available if you’d like to watch those, for reasons I don’t fully understand. BBC DVD as it was then even stopped telling the RT what the next release was and removed some decision making from them. So they were working on several upcoming titles with no idea what was out next, and couldn’t talk about anything unreleased – all due to certain “fans” not being able to behave despite repeated cautions.
