X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S. installation – Logitech Support

Good build quality, neat size, buttons feel firm, overall in looks great and feels like a good quality joyBefore you start up your flight simulator for the first time, you should acquaint yourself with some of the controls and features of the X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S. Go to Control Panel> Game Controllers and select the Properties for your X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S. You can test your buttons and axes here, and adjust the time readout and LED brightness and color.

Throttle clutch button = I leave it blank to associate with the application to communicate with other players. Basically, all of the wires connecting the throttle buttons are loose inside there. Keep moving it for a while and eventually one of them will become brittle and short. The X52pro uses 2 springs, and the disc is made from metal (less friction). Due the 2 springs the pro needs only little force to moved out of 0% position. The switches, knobs and buttons feel solid - time will tell how they hold up, but they feel good so far.

On Windows 10 it is not there so I had to add a dead zone, but all evening my ships have been slowly rolling to the right. Great work! You don't happen to have the PDFs for the X-55, too? I've been using jgm's Saitek X-55 Bindings Reference Sheet generator. It is really great and all, but produces JPEGs and no PDFs.

I have been looking for a really good X52 profile for F-14B and I never see one so I have this one I know you will enjoy! Mode Switch has been cleared of its functionality and is only used to select "DOGFIGHT / CENTER / MISSILE OVERRIDE" mode. In addition to the standard Aileron, Elevator, Rudder and Throttle controls, you also have three additional axes to use on the throttle controller: two silver ridged rotary wheels, and the precision slide. These are positioned conveniently so that your thumb and index finger can operate them. These controls have no set function, but they can be assigned in your Flight Sim to additional axes such as Elevator Trim or Flaps.Dead zones can be set in the Windows game controller panel for each axis, or in Elite Dangerous input bindings. Smooth, and precise control, feels like you got your money's worth. Lots, and lots of customization with the software. Lots of buttons and hats to keep me keyboard-free in Elite. The LCD screen on the throttle is cool, but not very usable. At least I have not found much of a use for it other than to display the time. Combatible with Most Flight Simulation, Combat Simulation, and Space Simulation Software including:

X52 Pro Flight System - Fully Integrated Stick and Throttle

Yes the trigger is 2 stages, simple shoot, but then pull it all the way in and it will put full power to weapons. And yes T4 is both Landing gear, lights and I think I put in power to shields for when people come boosting out of the ports. I generally switch to mode 3 and T4 when I'm about to enter the port. The X56 has some definite design improvements on the X55. A riser unit makes it more usable for people who don't have big hands, and there have been some improvements to the hat switches that had failure problems on the X55. For starters the throttle is so lubricated on the inside that if it sits for a while, it becomes so gummed up that it becomes difficult to move it at all, regardless of the resistance setting on the side. This feels like a real piece of equipment and not a toy. I am very impressed with the design and quality of the materials used. The X52 uses one spring to center, pressed against a plastic disc that is sliding on a plastic ridge (with a little bit of silicon grease in between).

Hope this is of use to some of you, any questions just fire away and I'll try and help out where I can. If anyone else has good X52Pro profiles and would like to make suggestions etc, the more the merrier Well built, solid feel. Responsive controls for serious gaming, tight and accurate, very little to no "slop". Almost enough buttons for a TRUE HOTAS experience in Elite:Dangerous, no doubt plenty for most games. Software is robust and stable. I've hunted high and low over past 4-6 weeks for profile settings and changed other users profiles to come up with something I like. I only recently bought by X52 PRO a couple of months ago. an "Editable" PDF file, so if you don't use my profile you can still use the PDF file - note I didn't created the initial pdf template, but it's very useful anyway. There is no need to set up a dead zone on my twist yaw. It centers and actually allows for some damn fine subtle control. I'm sure those experiencing the problem are legit, but its definitely not a design flaw in every unit.
