About this deal

It has a very long battery life, and you can customize the 7 additional buttons that it has around its sides and top. This number of buttons is pretty good for a mouse, though if you’re not gaming, you may find some of them obsolete. I think after seeing the newly released 3rd Gen, I decided I probably will buy another 2S instead down the road. Specifically, getting rid of the left and right scroll is a deal breaker to me. it is one of those features it is easy to take for granted, but it is a feature I find I am always always using. The software is very flexible, so you can make the scroll wheel pushes (or any of the buttons) perform specific functions like pulling up the calculator, raising the volume, or even executing a macro like Control-V to paste. All of this makes another of the software's features, Flow, even more useful. Flow allows you to move your mouse cursor between computers, so long as they're on the same Wi-Fi network. This works just like when you have multiple displays, which is pretty novel technology, and genuinely handy if you hop locations around the office, switch between a laptop and desktop to do your work, or need multiple devices to work out of a hotel room. Installation of Logitech Options transforms the middle button into a gesture button you can use to trigger gestures that simplify desktop and application management, media control, document viewing, and personalization of common tasks.

I’m one of the consumer PC experts at PCMag, with a particular love for PC gaming. I've played games on my computer for as long as I can remember, which eventually (as it does for many) led me to building and upgrading my own desktop. Through my years here, I've tested and reviewed many, many dozens of laptops and desktops, and I am always happy to recommend a PC for your needs and budget. It’s difficult to really compare the mice too much because they’re actually exactly the same weight and exactly the same dimensions too. The 2s is the newer of the two, and there are a few areas where it’s a noticeable improvement on the 2. The scroll wheel on the 2s isn’t as good as the MX Anywhere 3, which has a dual scroll (great for Excel and other editing work). A borracha da lateral desgastou fácil, e acabou saindo. A borda do plástico, que ficou, acaba sendo desconfortável, mas todo o resto compensa.Connect one end of the provided charging cable to the Micro-USB port on the mouse and the other end to a USB power source.

The 2S did away with a "connect" button on the underside. The MX 2 has that button. I like that button since it makes setting up pairing easy and means there isn't an annoying button combo one has to remember when pairing since the power is tied to a toggle switch. Normally with like Bluetooth speakers and headphones, the power is a button and depending how long you press it it determines if it enters pairing mode. This being a switch removes that dual feature of the power button. To connect your mouse to your computer press the Easy-Switch™ button for 3 seconds. When it blinks fast it means it's in discoverable mode. A power switch on the bottom toggles the mouse on or off, and a small circular button allows you to jump between up to three paired devices. Once you pair with a computer or tablet (the Anywhere 2S works with either Windows or Mac), you can press this button to switch between them on the fly, and three indicator lights above the button tell you which link is currently active. You can connect with either Bluetooth or the included USB adapter, which uses 2.4GHz wireless, for a maximum range of 32 feet.

Connected via BlueTooth, not bad. Lasted more than a month, but far from the 70days or 560hrs max total. Maybe you can squeeze Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. See how we test.

You can look at the images for comparison between the 3 mouse shape and size. They are the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, the Logitech G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse, and the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mouse. The image does not include my wired Logitech G502 since I have move to wireless devices (unfortunately there's no wireless G600). But you’ve probably also noticed the Anywhere 2s is also available, and it seems very similar to the original. Between them, they’re some of the bestselling Logitech mice out there. The main difference between the Anywhere 2 and the MX Anywhere 2s is that the 2s has a longer battery life and the ability to adjust it to a higher sensitivity too. This means that if you’re planning to use the mouse for gaming, then the 2S is going to be the better option. A autonomia de bateria desse mouse é insuperável!! Eu uso quase que o dia inteiro, e recarrego uma vez por mês, as vezes até menos que isso.DUAL CONNECTIVITY - Use with up to three Windows or Mac computers via included Unifying receiver or Bluetooth Smart wireless technology The mouse itself is pretty good. It has multiple computer connection capabilities, and of course, it’s a strong and reliable wireless mouse with a 10m maximum distance for it to work well. As it turns out, I prefer my 2S over the 3 but don't get me wrong, the newer model is still just as good...just not worth upgrading if you already have a 2S. The LED on top of the mouse turns red to indicate that battery power is low and it’s time to change batteries. I bought this mouse 2.5 years ago. In my hands, it has been thousands and thousands of hours of use. I use it for every PC I own. Due to the switching button on the bottom it makes changing device seamless. I have travelled everywhere and always brought it with me. It is durable, and I usually just threw it in my bag without a protective case. The speed is fast, meaning there is no latency. Via bluetooth it works quite far from the computer. Which is handy when I am using my TV monitor to display my laptop. The battery seems to last forever. I have actually never run out of battery. Sometimes after a month I decide I should probably charge it and when I always am surprised when I see how much battery life is still present. For me, its a comfortable mouse, and I big hands (lanky long fingers).
