At first application the notes are kinda complex, like a synthetic smelling soap. But having high hopes for Gucci, I gave it another try, rub it off and after 15 minutes.. Hhmmmm.. the drydown develops nicely into a clean, floral scent with a hint of tea - WONDERFUL! Envy me is sweet and fruity, there's a strong note of peach or nectarine. Sadly, I don't get any litchi, which I happen to love to eat. Its rare that a perfume smells so delish, like bubble gum and shampoo, but still has a bitter sort of base,that gives sofistication, and has such a sillage and longevity.(incredible for a EDT), it melts in my pores and becomes my own skin's smell. On my skin, this is very synthetic. This scent is familiar to me, so I've definitely smelt it on others before. It's a little sweet, a little green, and also complex, clean and soapy. It reminds me of shampoo. The dry-down is a nondescript fruity-floral smell. In Envy Me's favour, it isn't too sweet, and I think it's unlikely to offend anyone. I thought (give it ago) and to my surprise guess whatttt? It finally worked!!! Like I was freaking out lol. This smells a little medicinal but it's fruity GOODNESS!

Tabi yine de biraz eli yüzü düzgün çekici bir erkek olmanız durumunda bu karışımı öneririm. Yoksa hiç bu önerimi dikkate almayın ve erkekseniz doğrudan uzak durun. Benim gibi parfüm ayırmayı sevmeyen biri bile "aga nesin, necisin, bu nasıl koku? bilelim de ona göre davranalım.." diye bir tepki verebilir. :D I think it has a weak-moderate ( on skin up to 2h -3h) longevity, suits well with warm weather and should be used in daylight.Girly, SPRING-ly feminine type of scent. Fits perfectly for those who love Peony and Rose. Its not cloying but I'd rather use this sparingly, as the humid hot weather can render this watery thin and will have very poor longevity. I was expecting more since this seems to be the baby sister of the original Envy. You could do better than this Gucci! However, it's really lovely in its own way. I got a light floral that turned into a delightful clean laundry/luxury soap sort of scent that lingered for around 3 hours. The composition is fruity-floral with fresh and musky accords: spicy notes of litchi and pomegranate, the freshness of water jasmine, a harmony of sensual woods and musks. The top notes are pink peony and pink pepper, cassia, peach, mango; the heart brings litchi, pomegranate and pineapple; the base follows with sandalwood, white tea, Teakwood and white musk. The perfume was created by Karine Dubreuil in 2004.

All in all - I love that the scent is light: floral/fruity with a hint of masculinity and green notes. Ahhhh, I love sniffing it on my wrist. When the wind blows on me, I could smell other notes I cannot decipher. Haha. Soooo lovely. Contemplating on making this my signature perfume. By flouting the idea that it 'should always smell good' Envy places itself firmly in the difficult - or Expressionist camp - along with some of Roudnitska's work, Sécrétions, Poison etc. Envy Me is a bright, buoyant, feminine fragrance for spring. It is a happy and uplifting scent that is uncomplicated and projects a youthful, carefree essence. The fruits in here are also quite crisp, even though there is peach which normally smells dry, fuzzy and heavy. The other notes in here keep this perfume light and airy.

One of the few representatves of this genre that I really like. Sweet fruits are grounded with some darker notes of seringa, sandalwood, ad musk while the whole composition is being freshened up with a shampoo-like floral notes. Over all I was very happy with the perfume oils I bought, some seemed stronger than others so do be careful when applying as they seem to last all day but i enjoyed all the perfumes for different reasons. This is the problem with many modern frags, especially the sweet/sugary/fruity ones - they're a bit thin, a little predictable and almost interchangeable. There's a cheapness to frags that depend on fruits and sugars. How many fruit notes can be incorporated before the frag becomes a fruit salad? And of course it was a big success, which goes to show that a safe perfume isn't always the most lucrative one. This is definitely my signature scent. My sister bought a bottle for herself and the first time she wore it, I just couldn't stop smelling and wonder what that heavenly smell came from.
