This is another brilliant alternative to using a standard dart board. Instead of using sharp and potentially dangerous darts, it uses a metallic board with magnetic darts.
At the start of the second round, the contestants are separated from each other for the rest of the game. One enters an isolation chamber behind The Wall, while the other remains onstage. A set number of green balls are played simultaneously at the beginning of the round. Three multiple-choice questions are then played, each with three answer choices. The onstage player is shown only the answers to each question and must decide which drop zone to use, based on how confident he/she is that the isolated player can answer correctly. The question and answers are then presented to the isolated player. After he/she responds, the ball is dropped from the chosen zone. A correct answer turns the ball green and adds the value of the slot it lands in to the team bank, while a wrong answer turns the ball red and deducts the value. The isolated player is not told which of his/her answers are correct or given any information on the team bank until he/she is brought out of isolation near the end of the game. This requires getting a magnet surface you can place on your wall. There are a lot of options online, but it does require some time and money investments, but if you can get your school to do it, it holds endless posibilites for your students. To determine who goes first, each player will throw their 6 rings at the board. The player with the highest total goes first. Players will control ancient clans in China trying to defend against invading Mongolian hordes and build a Great Wall. While every player will want to win (by earning VP = Honor) they also need to sometimes cooperate to defend against the hordes. Each clan will be asymmetric through its chosen Leader (resource production/starting resources/starting workers and units) and this asymmetry will increase as the game progresses (players will hire Advisors with unique skills, often creating unique engines). Exterior walls are perfect for ball games. The rules of kid’s handball are pretty simple, a player must hit the ball with their hand so it bounces off the ground and hits the wall. This is a fun twist to the regular LEGO sets and game. Simply take LEGO surfaces and glue them to the wall in your class. Now take LEGO pieces and have the students play on the wall.
