About this deal

Spring: Celebrate Valentine's Day with 25% off date night outfits, and up to 30% off new season pieces. There is a serial killer on the loose in the villages around Milton Keynes and DI Madeleine Wood and her team are at a loss. With four teenage girls missing they suspect the worst but can't prove it. Charlotte Moore, a local woman, almost lost her life six months ago in a car crash and having had to re-evaluate all she holds dear is currently making her daughter, Elle's life a misery by smothering her with overprotectiveness.

Newly promoted DI Madeleine Wood is given the task of investigating the killings. She is married with two children who she never sees. Madeline is annoyed she was assigned the case because the other DI's would not touch the case. Charlotte has just this one child. She is determined to keep Elle safe. Elle is not happy with the situation at all and when her birthday party is cancelled after the four bodies are found she is furious. The story upto this point was the usual thriller/mystery/murder sequel. Detectives trying to piece together fragmented stories, no CCTV footage so the killer seemed to be aware of them, no finger prints, and a community tense and in turmoil. The man wiped his sweaty palm on the recliner’s worn armrest, nodding enthusiastically at the preacher’s words. This book grabs you from the start and you will not be able to put it down. It is told mainly by Charlotte, with chapters from Madeleine and from Anon. This book is so addictive , so unpredictable, with a massive twist near the end that will blow your mind! If you are a lover of psychological thrillers then this is the book for you. The girl nodded as tears ran down her cheeks. She smiled at the preacher and then out at her parents. “Yes,” she answered. “I am pure.”Lauren Holly as Monique DuBois, [5] the director of the Archer School of Ballet in Chicago, Illinois, who is secretly sleeping with Caleb I am so, so, so glad that I wasn't eating whilst reading this book as oh em gee, the storyline is severely dark and twisted! The killer wanted to describe how he murdered the girls as they were proud of their 'achievement' as it were. I on the other hand, would have felt a lot less nauseous if the descriptions didn't then turn into such vivid imagery in my head! I'm not complaining, obviously, but it is very gruesome.

Nurse Charlotte Monroe was recovering from a traumatic car crash which nearly killed her. Charlotte could not remember what happened before the crash, six months she was still suffering memory lapses and could not always remember conversations. When one of friends daughter goes missing, Charlotte starts to fear for the safety of her daughter Elle. Pretty Little Things tells the story of Elaine Emerson know as Lainey. She is a normal girl except for the fact that she might as well be invisible in her own home. Her mother is too busy to know or care what she does, her little brother can do no wrong, her step-father is too busy at work and her elder sister no longer bothers coming home. So when Lainey is left to her own devices online, things go terribly wrong. With their recent house move and the loss of all of her school friends Lainey is finding it hard enough as it is to fit in at her new school, so when a handsome boy makes friends with her online she sees no reason why she shouldn't meet up with him. For Lainey this is where it all goes wrong. Where she is taken and who has taken her she can't say but she does know that she is scared and that she isn't alone.

Success!

The case is gruesome and harrowing as the author examines not only the way these girls get lured into traps by these predators, but the effect it has on the families, the investigative process, and the reminder that with each closed case, there are still countless missing and exploited children yet to find and rescue.

Like many of us in our everyday lives, Moses must make a difficult decision. A terrible decision. One that many will find objectionable, but yet Moses – well, Moses knows it is necessary. A difficult choice, but a necessary one. What does he tell them? What?” The end is twisted, unexpected and I guess no single reader has guessed it until now! I doubt any reader will.Six months ago, Charlotte almost lost everything. Now, she’s determined to keep her daughter, Elle, safe. So when local girls close to Elle in age and appearance begin to go missing, it’s her worst nightmare. can you even think of any murderers who had that illness?? there's maybe a couple out of thousands of murderers out there. yet every single person with it is evil in the media. I had my mind blown!!! I was really frightened by the last part of the story!! And I loved It!! 10/5 stars from me’ Steven, Netgalley Nonetheless, the book is well written with a gruesome plotline and can make a good holiday read, if you can let your imagination go wild towards the end of the book.
