You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).
Paul states clearly in 2 Corinthians 2:10–11 that Satan has “designs” — a strategy, an agenda, to undermine unity in the church in that city (and no doubt in every city, yours included). This is similar to what the apostle says in Ephesians 6:11 conc I declare my allegiance to Your kingdom, and I stand firm in the assurance of Your unwavering presence by my side. Grant me the courage to face every challenge, the wisdom to discern every scheme, and the faith to proclaim my victory through Christ. Prayer to the Good Shepherd
Since the Rosary is a most excellent prayer focused on Jesus and His Life and activities in salvation history, it brings us closer to Our Lord and Our Lady. Doctrinally, Our Lady is our Mother and Jesus is our Eldest Brother, besides being our God. (see Lumen Gentium chapter VIII - Our Lady #62) And the also to those at Corinth: “ For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor. 15:22). Living in the state of grace is the highest protection against satan, and by praying the rosary one is protected to resist and overcome satan snares to not lose the graces derived from the sacraments by having a powerful Mother at our side. Our Lady's blue mantle of protection is our shield. Do not be outwitted by Satan. God sees behind enemy lines and tells us all we need to know to not be ignorant of Satan’s designs.”
Since Our Lady is our Mother and Advocate, She always assists those who call on Her implicitly by praying the Rosary. The Church reminds us of this in the Memorare prayer, "... never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided ..." Dear Heavenly Father, in the midst of a world filled with uncertainties and spiritual battles, I come before You recognizing the significance of seeking Your divine protection against the cunning schemes of the evil one. I humbly ask that You envelop me in Your impenetrable shield, one that stands as a barrier against the fiery arrows of temptation aimed to sway me from Your path of righteousness.God is sovereign over Satan. The devil does not have a free hand in this world. He is on a leash, so that he can do no more than God permits. In effect, he must get permission — as in the case of Simon Peter, where Jesus discloses, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has asked to have you, that he might sift you like wheat” (Luke 22:31). You can summon all your hosts, you need to know that you're going to lose this battle because we are the church of the living God. Perhaps the most important part of this conversation is understanding that Christ did not die for the demons. His death was for mankind, which is why he became man in the Incarnation and not an angel ( part III, question 1, article 1).
