As a no frills mower, you wouldn’t expect the CityMower 18 to be overly exciting when it comes to cutting heights, but the fact that it only has a choice of three did leave me feeling a little deflated. That said, if you are looking for a lawn mower to tend to an already well-maintained garden then this will suit you down to the ground. Its weakness is its battery life. You’re looking at around 20 minutes from a charge, then a wait of around two hours while the charger does its stuff. However, it’s compatible with other batteries from the Worx Powershare range, so you might be able to share spare batteries across a range of home and garden tools. The Bosch CityMower 18 has a slight edge in ease-of-use and cutting performance, but it’s also quite a bit more expensive. If you have a small garden and you’re on a budget, this little wonder’s hard to beat. For example, the solid structure of this grass collection box means that it will have much better durability compared to cloth bags.
