About this deal

The two speeders are included because we wanted to add some extra value to the set. We know that the speeders will be seen in the show, however, we do not know exactly in which context they will be seen. I guess we will have to wait and see like everybody else. We also love Gonk droids, so we are excited too, and happy that we were able to include one here." This is not a new minifigure, as he previously appeared in last year’s Bad Batch Shuttle set but he’s still a nice minifigure though, and I like the printed details on his gunmetal grey armor. An opening cargo container is also available for accessories and can be removed fairly easily, providing space for another minifigure when necessary. The additional seat is not displayed in any official images but was presumably intended, otherwise this container would be integrated more closely. This option is definitely appreciated, despite the tight squeeze! His breathing tubes are a new silver molded piece but look superb and less clunky than the previous version, and while his hat is smaller than previous variants it still looks good too. Her hairpiece isn’t 100% accurate but I’m just glad LEGO included one as an option, so you can switch between helmeted and helmetless looks.

The fourth minifigure in the set is Cad Bane himself, who makes an awesome return to LEGO form with new pieces and prints. He has a double-sided head with stern and angry expressions, and a hairpiece which is a reasonable approximation but not perfect, as his headband is printed on his head instead of being moulded into his hair. The Justifier becomes even longer (though loses some of its height) when placed into landing mode – rotating the entire engine pod subassembly into a horizontal pose.Additionally, employing this element enables the canopy to open smoothly, although access is restricted by the dorsal wing. Fortunately, another method is available. The boarding ramp and entrance are not functional, inevitably, but they are represented by one dark bluish grey 2x2 tile which seems appropriately distinctive among the surrounding components. The first bag includes the parts for two speeder bikes. These are very standard LEGO Star Wars speeders, and we’ll return to them later in the review.

The nose of the shuttle in the source material consists of a number of converging slopes, with sloped Briggs and hinged creating a variety of shapes on the front of the craft. SNOTwork. (Studs not on top) to the sides she’s the sides slope inwards as well, resulting in a relatively smooth nose. The forward cabin sits two minifigures, one in front of the other. From here, we work on the rear cabin, which attaches to the front via several technic pins. It’s frankly an odd choice at this price point to begin with, as the Justifier isn’t really an iconic ship so the high price tag is even more of a hard sell. Their positioning seems strange, although I appreciate such accuracy when compared with the animated series. One poster features a Special Ops Clone Trooper beneath an Aurebesh word which reads 'HISTORY', although the word 'MONTHLY should appear underneath. The second poster displays an imposing Providence-class Dreadnought engaging with a Venator-class Star Destroyer. The caption above reads 'SPACE BATTLES'. Underneath is just a clip to store an extra spring-loaded missile, which can be mounted into the missile launcher on the ends of each wing. While it feels like this space could’ve been used for more storage, most of the space here is unfortunately taken up by the landing mechanism. My thoughts exactly. Do we really need the speeders? Certainly their inclusion says to me that they wanted to charge more for what they intend to be the only Bad Batch set. Although missing Omega is very problematic, but maybe she could appear in a Microfighter set if they really don’t intend to produce more Bad Batch sets.

It’s a 1000 piece set with 5 minifigures and not much interior space, and does not offer much more in terms of play value or piece count than cheaper sets like 75337 AT-TE Walker and even 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe. I was honestly surprised when I finished the model as this section definitely looks like it needs a few more pieces to finish it off. One weak point in the wing is this section, as the rear part of the wing is only attached with one stud on this hinge, and so grabbing the rear wing can feel a bit weak.

Personally I feel like it feels like more of a warship instead of a personal ship for Cad Bane, but that’s more an issue with Lucasfilm’s design than LEGO.

Following his extensive injuries on Lola Sayu and Skako Minor, Echo joins the Bad Batch and wears armour which complements his squadmates. Unfortunately, the kama that distinguishes Echo from other Bad Batch members is printed rather than employing a fabric element and the helmet seems imperfect as well, despite featuring excellent detail. Echo's decorated arm looks splendid though, portraying his cybernetic implants.
