About this deal

The More Trail v3 comes with two pull tabs: one on the tongue, which is very useful for adjusting the fit, and another on the heel, which does absolutely nothing because it's positioned too low. Hey, just cut & paste it for the v4! Personal: B (The shoe rides smoothly and does its job well. I'm not a huge max cushion shoe fan though) I was surprised how much I enjoyed running in the More v3. I had the first More and I hated it. It was clunky, rigid, and stiff. It was such a mismatch for me that it goes down as one of the worst shoes I have ever run in. This shoe is very close in design and purpose to the Hoka Bondi 7, and if you saw our review of that shoe I just thought it was too stiff. The Bondi fits heavier runners really well, and the ample amounts of foam underfoot were not that useful in my tests. You can watch my full New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 review below and read on to learn more about this shoe’s performance, what I like best about it, and who I recommend this shoe for. New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 Review: Run Test Review

If you’re in the market for a maximal trainer that can still push the pace, then maybe give these a look. Sally: The Fresh Foam More 3 is just that: MORE. This is one massive Hoka-esque shoe with an abundance of Fresh Foam cushioning underfoot. Will it run like a soft marshmallow, or will it be that sweet well cushioned ride we all look for? Spoiler alert: I think I am in love.

The outsole doesn’t change much and continues to combine exposed foam and rubber. This type of configuration is more fragile, so you’ll have to keep an eye on the durability to see how well the shoe holds up over time. However, the good thing is that testers didn’t notice any signs of wear even after several long runs. Finally, the grip is adequate, even on wet surfaces. The New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 is probably one of my favorites maxed cushion shoes of 2021. Here are three reasons why: The Stable Upper Based on our lab measurements, this trail shoe impressively ranks among the top 5% softest trail shoes, registering a buttery-soft 14.9 HA. That's 85% plusher than trail shoes on average!

Like most shoes, finding the best running shoe for your preferences will depend on unique factors like your foot, arches, goals, and stability needs. The best running shoe will offer the ideal balance of softness and stability, comfortable fit, and the preferred amount of cushioning for comfort and longevity. How do you break-in running shoes? The last two digits of the number used to indicate the level of cushioning: a “60” being a stability shoe while a “80” a neutral shoe. This is the actual list: Jeff: It’s big, it’s wide, it’s soft. There has never been this much FreshFoam X put underneath the foot, and the result is exactly what you think it might be. Few shoes are this soft, yet, I don’t believe many runners will have stability complaints. The platform width takes care of that, as well as a substantial rubber outsole strip along the medial side of the midfoot. However, there is no going over the board in the More Trail v3. Our precise measurements of the toebox revealed that this New Balance is only a few millimeters wider than the average trail running shoe.Shop Men’s Fresh Foam More v3 Shop Women’s Fresh Foam More v3 New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 Shoe Specs Sam: Same as Jeff. The long side rails on both sides of the Infinity are supposed to stabilize the knees more than the feet (pronations) on what is already a broad platform. The rails and especially the lateral side ones are are in the way of transitions for me, and noticeably so. More delivers some stability for my neutral needs with a touch of stability far more elegantly. No contest. Shop Men’s Fresh Foam More v3 Shop Women’s Fresh Foam More v3 How Does the New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 Fit? We found the shoe's fit to be very accommodating in both the forefoot and the midfoot. There is plenty of space for toes to splay and feet to swell on those longer efforts. MEAGHAN: You guys, the New Balance Fresh Foam More v3 is the Lovesac of running shoes. It’s a booster cushion for your feet. It’s everything I want in a daily trainer, and exactly what my legs crave in the middle of marathon training.

Another main change in this shoe is in the base and outsole. The base is a bit wider than it was in the v2. So, if you have wider feet, this new version will fit you better. The outsole also has less rubber, which helps with the flexibility of the shoe and overall ride. Wow, thank you, Fresh Foam X! This shoe has loads of this foam in the midsole, and it’s an incredible ride. Fresh Foam X is responsive and soft, and this shoe has just the right amount – it doesn’t feel squishy at all and is still pretty responsive. The material used on the upper is a double jacquard mesh which is flexible, and very breathable. However, as I found out while running during a rain storm halfway through my tests, they let all the water in. And they were not great at expunging the water that got in. So on those runs in the rain, your feet are going to get very wet. New Balance Fresh Foam More – Conclusion The engineered mesh upper is soft yet supportive (a huge improvement from last year, but we’ll get into that later). It even seems to have a little bit of stretch to it. This upper is refreshing since it seems like most shoes now are leaving out the structure.

He is 5’9” tall and weighs about 164 lbs. Adidas Adios 6 review - A complete retake on the workout trainer, featuring lightstrike pro in the forefoot The More v3 however, nailed the foam density, and it’s a real treat for your feet and legs no matter the runner’s weight. The ride leaves you speechless

Sally: I agree that New Balance really nailed it with this upper. Attractive, breathable, not overly complicated, soft and somewhat stretchy, functional and well padded tongue, flat land stretchy aces that hold, and well cushioned but not overly so heel collar - all elements of this upper are well thought out and well executed. No concerns here!

New Balance Running Shoes: Price UK

The upper is your basic mesh that allows air to reach the foot. My size 10.5 fit true to size and held my foot securely. This surprised me since I have a narrow low volume foot and I felt secure without any bagginess or extra material. The padded tongue and collar keep the More 3 in the comfort zone. I did not find the softness energy sapping or overdone although at slower paces it is a bit more ponderous in feel with the heel feeling lower but not nearly as low feeling as the Skechers Max Road at the same heel to toe drop I think due to the More's wrap around bulging heel geometry. We just love pull tabs. They look amazing in most shoes and, above everything, they make it easy for us to slip into the shoe. Indulge in unrivalled comfort and support with the New Balance Fresh Foam More v3. These cushioned running shoes are built to provide a luxurious running experience, making them an ideal choice for training enthusiasts. With its premium features, including maximum cushioning, a responsive Fresh Foam X midsole, and durable construction, these shoes are sure to elevate your running performance.
