At the same time the area has been resealed and made hard-wearing again. The sealer must dry before sealing the surface with the scratch remover spray Scratchfix PU Repair Spray. Hold the pen with the tip pointing upwards and de-aerate until a little sealer escapes. Point the pen downwards onto a cloth and press again -- now the tip is filled with sealer -- wipe off excess onto the cloth.

Regular polishing with Floor Cleaner R 1000 increases the resistance of the Floor Mat protective coating especially in high traffic areas. Shake the pen vigorously before use. Hold the pen upright and push the ‘PRESS’ button once before use. Hold the pen tip downright and push the button once more to let drops fall onto a cloth. Guide carefully along the scratch, dabbing lightly. Leave to dry for approx. 10-15 minutes and erase any differences in gloss with a plastic wedge. Do a test to ensure compatibility and practice the repair on extra flooring material or in an out of the way area, such as a closet floor, before making a repair in the middle of your dining room or store flooring. Over-dosage of Floor Cleaner R 1000 or the accumulation of moisture on the treated surface can lead to an increase in surface friction as well as a reduction in anti-slip qualities.To prepare the brush tip for repairs, first shake the pen vigorously for at least 15 seconds, remove the cap and release air by pushing the button once before use. For partial repairs, it is possible that apparent differences to the remaining area may become visible (e.g. differences in the degree of gloss). Use the grey abrasive fleece to ensure the surface is as even as possible and ensure the area is free from dust and dirt before application. Shake the spray can vigorously before spraying onto the damaged area at a distance of about 30-40 cm. For best results, apply 2-3 times – allowing the protective film to air for about 5-10 mins between coats. Simply mop over your floor to add an extra protective layer and make day to day cleaning even easier. When the first protective film is firm to walk on (after approximately 1 hour), mop a second coat and allow to dry for at least 12 hours before the floor is walked on, ideally overnight.

Clean area making sure it is free of any dirt, grease and any existing polish or acrylic finish. ScratchFix will only work when applied to the factory finish. Lightly sand damaged area using abrasive grey pad provided in the vinyl floor repair kit to smooth rough areas caused by scratching. Remove dust created during sanding using a slightly moist cloth. Allow area to dry. Shake ScratchFix Repair Spray 20 seconds. Spray damaged area forming a fine mist on the floor. For best results apply 2-3 coats. Allow 5-10 minutes of dry time between coats. For deeper scratch marks, use the plastic spatula to remove raised edges before sanding with the grey pad. After wiping the area clean, pre-treat the scratch with the ScratchFix Repair Pen. Prepare the pen for use as detailed in the included instructions sheet and apply it evenly in one direction keeping it off of surrounding areas whenever possible. IMPORTANT: Gloss level between the repaired area and the factory finish may differ.
