About this deal

Autotuning: Once powered on, the radio will automatically search for the available stations. Wait for it to complete an autotune, after which a station will start playing. The Pure all-in-one music systems combine digital radio, CD player and easy wireless connection to portable devices giving you a huge choice of listening. The space-saving designs with integrated speakers deliver ultra-clear class-leading audio and look beautiful with their clean styling and wood style finish. Our range-topping Evoke C-F6 also brings you the best of connected audio, with internet radio, Spotify Connect* and Bluetooth offering you an unparalleled choice of listening. Another thing we enjoyed about the Pure Evoke C-D6 is the fact that it’s future-proof. We’re not just talking about being able to access Bluetooth streaming here, either.

Unlike the radios looked at so far, the Evoke F3 is an internet radio. This means you can connect to WiFi and listen to Spotify or the 20,000+ internet radio stations from across the world. You can also connect to your phone or other device via Bluetooth to use your radio as a wireless speaker. Give your music extra bass, depth and clarity so you can finally hear what you've been missing. Powerful tuned stereo speakers combine with the wood casing and the advanced digital amplifier to deliver class-leading audio. Whatever music you love, you’ll love it even more with Evoke C-D6.On the downside, one slight performance issue we had was that the remote wasn’t always very responsive. We had to make sure we were pointing the device directly at the radio for it to work. Pure Evoke C-D6 review: Verdict This radio isn’t cheap, but it looks and sounds fantastic. Unlike many other DAB radios, it offers stereo sound thanks to the two built-in speakers. If you don’t mind spending a bit more to get a really top-quality product, the Evoke D6 with Bluetooth is a good buy.

This radio has a decent sound quality for the price and looks very classy, with a nice wood-effect finish. Reception is generally good on DAB, but it can be poor on FM, so it’s not such a good choice if you prefer to listen on FM than DAB. One of the most popular apps for turning your phone into a remote is UNDOK, which is compatible with the Roberts Stream94i, Roberts Revival iStream 3, Revo SuperSystem and Revo SuperConnect, among others. The Pure Evoke C-D6 features a clear LCD display, providing easy visibility and navigation through various settings. Its dimensions are as follows: width of 370 millimeters, depth of 223 millimeters, and height of 135 millimeters, making it compact and space-efficient. The radio weighs 3800 grams, ensuring stability and sturdiness during use. Built-in Bluetooth lets you choose your favourite music, streaming service or internet radio station and play it direct from your phone or tablet without trailing wires. Some radios allow you to use your phone as a remote control via an app that connects your phone to the radio. You can enjoy your entire music collection with the Evoke C-D6 without having to worry about being restricted to just radio or just streaming. Additionally, the CD player that comes built-in with the CD-6 also includes extra features like shuffle and repeat. If you just want a digital radio and aren’t interested in connecting it to the internet, an Evoke D2 or D4 is probably a better option. As with all Pure Evoke radios, you can except great sound quality. This particular radio system comes with an attractive real-wood casing, which is common throughout the Evoke portfolio.

Like the D2, the Evoke D4 is also available with Bluetooth. This lets you stream internet radio or MP3s from your phone, MP3 player or laptop (provided they have Bluetooth). The Evoke D4 with Bluetooth comes in a maple veneer casing. It has the same features and design as the regular D4 except for offering Bluetooth connectivity. That said, we realized this radio has an easier and shorter setup process. It involves the following: If being able to stream music from a Bluetooth-enabled device like a smartphone or laptop is important to you, the Evoke D4 with Bluetooth is a good option. Otherwise you should go for the regular Evoke D4, which costs less. A remote control is a very useful feature for a digital radio to have, as it means you can control the radio from wherever you are in the room. This product is more of a complete sound system than just a radio; it features FM/DAB/DAB+ radio, a CD player, Bluetooth and a USB port you can use to play MP3 files. The system looks pleasant enough and offers plenty of functionality, similar to many other Pure products, like the Avalon or Siesta Rise.

The Evoke F3 looks much more modern than the D1, D2 and D4 models, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your taste. Features Part of the comprehensive Pure Evoke line, which also includes the C-D4 and the C-F8, the Evoke C-D6 is a mid-level all-in-one radio created with a focus on functionality and style. This radio’s screen can be dimmed to a very low level, which means you can have it in the bedroom without it lighting the whole room up at night. It also has an alarm function that lets you wake up to the CD player, radio or an alarm sound. Some of these radios cost more than the regular Evoke D4 with Bluetooth radio, but they are a good option if matching the radio to your decor is important to you. Not only do you get a product that looks nice, but you also get technology that delivers relatively good value. One particularly impressive feature of the Pure Evoke is how much power it manages to fit into such a small space. You should be able to easily fit this device into any room of your home.
