I was super impressed by how the recurring characters seemed to work as a cast to make this more than just a book of puzzles. And there is quite a bit of humor! Note that there are 4 sections to the book, with different degrees of difficulty ranging from "Elementary" to "Impossible". Then there is a Hint section for each puzzle, and then finally a section with the Solutions. These last two sections, of course, don't work too easily on an e-reader. Two more volumes are set to come out in the next six months or so, and I do think I’ll try my hand at Murdle again! This was a whole lotta fun—for the most part. Each of the 100 puzzles helps the main character, Deductive Logico, solve a mystery, almost always a murder. The narrative around these puzzles builds a much larger story that is really cleverly done. I enjoyed getting to play detective!
