This, for me, was a barrage of cinnamon -- like when you eat on of those cinnamon hard candies that's so strong, it feels like cinnamon is coming out of your ears. I love this scent sooo much it reminds me a bit of burberry brit edp without the lime and citrus because i thought what was the pear was actually the peach in this fragrance so not an exact dupe but you can smell some similarities.

Confirming my thoughts about it being a clean, freshly showered smell, but to me, it's so much more. The florals are mixed well and stay light, drying down to a wonderful, sweet vanilla slightly woody, creamy musk that feels cuddly. Not bubble gum overly sweet cotton candy type scents of today that when they dry down all but dissapear.

I think it is more of and older lady scent or first scent as it is very light and has ZERO wow factor.

I almost like this perfume( I like the woody, fruity aspect) but as Sparkly Unicorn also stated, there's some undertone that I dont like; its sandalwood perhaps. To me this leans more masculine than what I normally wear, but completely wearable for both women and men.

Second review of Ellen, because I chose to wear this yesterday, gave my arms about two healthy spritzes each, and caught lovely wafts of it all day long. Ellen is listed as a floral woody musk, but I sense some gourmand going through the process, alternating with the woods for a position. Ellen Tracy is not a known brand in Australia, however I have heard that it's a rather inexpensive brand overseas.I like to wear it when I'm not in the mood to make a statement, but still want to smell sweet and feminine. The licorice is only present in the initial spray and then quickly fades to a soft powerdy musk and vanilla sandalwood. It is very GREEN -- the color entered my head as soon as I tried it out -- but I didn't find it quite the neat, clean scent that greens usually are. Not what I was expecting at all as I had hoped for a perfume with more sandalwood and cinnamon which I love along with flowers.The notes listed on the site must not be 100% accurate as this definitely has anise, star anise or licorice as a note as well as vanilla. Im not sure what 'woody' notes smell like so i dont know what to look for but i do love this perfume very much.
