I've skimmed the kindle version i bought for a quick overview and like this very sensible approach to trying to lose weight but without sacrificing flavour, and still having a reasonable size portion. So I’ve developed lots of tasty and satisfying recipes that people will love to cook and eat, but that will also help them lose weight. It's hard to find low calorie diet books that cater to vegetarian diets as well, and then this book came along.

I have certainly been guilty of snacking between meals until I started cooking Tom's Meals from this book. I like Tom and his usually unpretentious recipes, we watched the accompanying TV programme and bought the book, as, for health reasons, I need some food with flavour, as chemotherapy has numbed mine, but agave and yuzo! In 2021 Tom launched the game-changing Full Time Meals campaign with Marcus Rashford and in 2022 he will be a judge on Great British Menu. I don't know how Tom does it but it's incredible, as snacking between meals is often the reason why most diets don't work.
