About this deal

Create and save up to six scenes and back them up to your computer via MIDI (if you're that way inclined. One SERIOUS design flaw: It's really easy to accidentally erase a whole scene when you're trying to switch from one scene to another. M9 Stompbox Modeler gives you an instant collection of vintage and modern stompbox tones and effects. My reservation is just a point of expectation management really: a multi-effects unit is only going to sound as good as the guitar going in one side, and the amp it leads to from the other. Depressing the first knob (in the top right quadrant of the pedal) selects the type of effect pedal you’re using; then twisting that knob selects the specific effect assigned to that pedal.

The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. I could probably get by with just the M9, but I have a few old stomp boxes that I just can't part ways with. Wah sounds were pretty basic and perfectly usable, but there were no advanced options for tweaking their sounds as we’ve found on some newer wah pedals. This pedal (and this model) feature a "rise time" control that when engaged speeds up to where you last set it. For the cost of a couple of nice analog pedals, it gives you the sonic capabilities of dozens and dozens of them. The main thing that TC Electronic seem to be trying to get across with the Nova System, is that it will give you analog sounds, with the ease and versatility of digital. We may share Personal Information about you with such third party service providers to the extent necessary for the sole purpose of enabling them to perform services on our behalf. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play with the expression pedal inputs, but some videos online make it look pretty handy.

I've got my first gig with a new band on 13th august and I'm pretty much away between now and then so there really isn't time to be getting to grips with new kit - as much I'd prefer something new and shiny! The metal housing is small enough that you can easily place the M9 on your pedalboard, but it requires 9V AC power (not DC) similar to other Line 6 pedals (so you’ll need to plan your power accordingly if you choose not to use the included power supply). Just turn the knobs and you're done-no menus, no saving, no hassles-and your tweaks remain, even after you power down. Between that and the fact that we hate prematurely chopping off our reverb tails and delay repeats inadvertently (standard behavior for any true bypass effect device), we didn’t need this alternate configuration.
