Loved the steamy scenes in this book especially when he was trying to help her…you know what ☺️ for the first time. plus i also want to give myself a break and not force reviews on books where i actually don’t have that much to say, because those reviews don't make me happy and most of it is just words and i'm just trying to fill out the review, but you’ll no longer be seeing me do that.A third is to come, but for now I’ll share my thoughts on whether or not this series is worth skating into.

And also sincerely, I’m tired of female characters who don’t have good sex lives before meeting the H. I’m sure it will absolutely shock you to hear that, after their personalities are done clashing, the sexual tension starts flooding in. I really could not get enough of Pippa and Jamie, this book quickly became one of my favourites and I can’t wait to read the next book, which I gratefully received as an ARC. I have to warn people though that this book is heavy on the insta-love and is quite cliche at times!Behind the Net is a hockey romance novel set in Vancouver, Canada and features main characters Pippa and Jamie. on day one, you knock on his door only for it to be the hockey god you crushed on in high school who seemingly has no idea who you are and is not happy you're here. i honestly think it’s time for me to get back into my hockey romance era, because i’ve missed these vibes so much.
