The the icing survived perfectly, after a few hours sitting out of the fridge in the box, any condensation was gone and the cake looked perfect.

To get the best out of Couture, ensure you have thoroughly kneaded the paste before rolling out to work the natural gums and create the elasticity. I've tried many different sugarpastes but this one I have now been using for the last year at least. It has completely changed the way I decorate cakes and looking back at old photos I am convinced my cakes now have a better finish with cleaner edges and smoother surfaces.
