About this deal

Gamble also let Independent TV in on what it would be like to serve childhood Ed and his sophisticated palate in a restaurant.

Now Caine delves into the real stories behind the gangs we think we know so well, revealing the hidden realities behind the myths. Listen in as she takes six different people on a career change journey to help them figure out what work they would really love to do and create a plan of how to make that career change happen. The facility includes a height-adjustable bench, tracking hoist system, a centrally-placed toilet, a height-adjustable basin and a shower. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trip down memory lane or who just loves to fantasise about food.

I like Ed, both his stand up comedy and the Off Menu podcast really appeal to me, but this book felt a little bit performative/surface level. Tickets can only be sold through the Southbank Centre and our authorised agents, and can't be resold. The 9 Step Negativity Detox is a powerful series that will teach you the nine simple steps to free you from the unnecessary causes of negativity in your life.

I enjoyed it so so much, having been (or still am) a bit of a fat lad and lover of food it was so relatable and at times felt like I was reading about myself. Sometimes I struggle with autobiographies and they take me forever to read, but with this one it was far from the case. He is the restaurant critic for the Evening Standard, and has appeared as a judge on TV series MasterChef, Top Chef and The Great Cookbook Challenge. In the absolutely packed Act II, the dark fantasy resumes and the Sandman expands into the French Revolution, ancient Rome, 19th-century San Francisco, eighth-century Baghdad, and beyond. Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. It details a journey that I have personally also been on and I also appreciated the sincerity with regards to diabetes and how life changing it can be as well as how to reframe it.

Comedian Ed Gamble has just served up his hilarious memoir for all to indulge, titled ‘ Glutton: The Multi-Course Life of A Very Greedy Boy ’. I don’t consider myself a foodie, in fact, I’m probably Ed’s worst nightmare (a fussy fueller) but I loved this book! From his childhood cravings, to his ‘fat teenage years’ and kitchen mishaps, Glutton is a heartwarming tribute to the joy of food. His first book, Settlers: Journeys Through the Food, Faith and Culture of Black African London, was published in 2022 and shortlisted for Foyles Non-Fiction Book of the Year. A much-used word, karma is loosely understood as a system of checks and balances in our lives, of good actions and bad deeds, of good thoughts and bad intentions.

In 'Glutton', Ed shares a relatable buffet of experiences and stories from a life lived through food. Ed Gamble is not my fav comedian although I love him as a podcast host (Off Menu and Taskmaster), but as I got into his stories I think I found this book to be more about a man trying his best.In The Coldest Case: A Black Book Audio Drama, homicide detective Billy Harney sends his new partner, Kate, deep undercover in a notorious Chicago drug ring.
