I am writing this review as I have just purchased one for a friend who had a leak which soaked flooring. They focus on the domestic market and only sell a couple of construction dehumidifiers aimed at building and DIY projects.

This ebac 15L dehumidifier is ideal for removing excess moisture from 1/2 bedroom home and controlling damp and condensation.Only downside is suggestion that filters are changed every 3 months especially since we have no odour problem in the room. The 2250e has a highly optimised heat exchange and airflow system designed to work with Smart Control and give optimal performance. Keeps excess moisture levels well under control by being left on for an hour or two each - cold - morning. If you are running your dehumidifier on Smart Mode it sometimes appears that the dehumidifier is always on or not on at all.

For the first week or so of operation I had to pour out a couple of litres of water every day, but as the conservatory floor dried out it may take a week to get any where near full. Permanent drainage kit for the 4250, 4650, 4850 dehumidifier, simply connect to a sink or drainage point nearby and remove the need to empty the water container.After the air purification operation, the environment of your room or house will be fresh and enjoyable. Leave your Powerdri dehumidifier to work in an unoccupied property with the use of a permanent drainage kit. As this is the first model that I have had with the new Smart Control System I can't really comment on it although the controls seem very simple to use and it must be good to be able to slow the fan speed once the initial moisture has been removed, it must be said though that the new models are a lot quieter than some of the earlier models. I was a bit skeptical but went ahead and bought the Ebac 2250e and I have to say I am very impressed.
