It’s not even that warm out yet, but you bet your ass I’m gonna rock this no matter the weather… it’s just that good.
Imagine you’re fresh out of the shower on a summer morning and you lather yourself in a TF Neroli Portofino scented body butter, maybe even a quick spritz of NPA on each arm, then get dressed in a pair of shorts and simple white tank and sandals.As we arrived at our destination, og went straight to the bathroom and washed my wrist with water and soap. Top notes are Grapefruit and Bergamot; middle notes are Ozonic notes and Violet Leaf; base notes are Java vetiver oil, White Musk and Patchouli.
O./sweat smell from this in the air or on my skin, and this is from someone who goes to a busy gym almost everyday. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. I heard all these youtubers describe it as a pungent sharp citrus, and therefore not too mass pleasing, but all I get is a juicy sweet grapefruit, no sourness whatsoever which is neither good or bad. Honouring Light Blue's signature top notes, the fragrance blends crisp and tangy fruits for an ultimate feeling of freshness before a highly feminine, sunny floral heart blossoms. When I smell this on my skin 20min after spraying I imagine being on a shaded terrace in Amalfi early in the morning …the sun is up and warm when on my skin, the day will be hot.
Unfortunately, 15 minutes after that I was left with a citrus potpourri smell (agree with the reviewers mentioning bathroom spray) and shortly thereafter . But this is by no mean a bad cologne, it smells very nice and has almost tropical/summer beach vibe, it is just not for me and for my skin.
Forever EDP, starts almost identical like the original, but the star is something more smokey together with orange blossom. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it so much, but it’s very different and it’s gonna be really hard to confuse this with anything else, which honestly can’t be said about a huge majority of designer fragrances recently. On paper, this starts very pretty w medium prominence of citrus, that is mixed w sugar and white flowers with a solid wood backdrop. I reapplied it before going out around ten, I didn't shower when I got home, and when I got up at nine the next morning I could still smell it on my skin. Have to say, since a number of people pointed out the "sweat" vibe they get from it, at first I was like "definitely not", but now I've started to pick up on it a bit more and understand where they're coming from.Like Hermes this starts off with strong citrus notes, in Forever it is a good representation of real Grapefruit. For what you're getting this is simply one of the best from the line, it's the best Light Blue from the line.
