About this deal

The third season, airing in 2023, has three episodes, and are based on the following books: Dead Like You, Dead Man’s Grip, and Not Dead Yet. Peter James began writing standalone novels while he was still working in television and film. Dead Letter Drop was his debut novel in 1981. Based in England in a city known to be full of criminals, Roy Grace’s department focuses on suspicious events and murder mysteries. One of the most popular murder-mystery novelists of his time, Peter James, wanted to give the dark city a personable protagonist who helped make the stories that needed to be told more light-hearted and easy to interpret. Michael Harrison's friends decided it would be funny to bury him alive as a stag night prank. Unfortunately, they were killed in a car accident before they could retrieve him, leaving the man buried in an unknown location just days before his wedding. DS Roy Grace sets out to help his beautiful, distraught fiancee. Getting Wired (1996) – This story introduces TechnoTerrors, a group of children who are attempting to raise money for a new school computer. However, their efforts to bring their school into the 20th century, via the Internet, often result in mayhem.

While attempting to return the CD, he witnesses a murder. This puts him in a hazardous spot, and before he knows it, he runs and hides to save his and his family’s lives. Hollywood visits Brighton in the eighth installment of the Roy Grace series, and the stakes are higher than ever. Each book contains its own crime and there are no series spanning villains, but each book reveals a little bit more about Roy Grace’s life. Therefore, it would be a shame to miss out on learning about Roy Grace the way it was meant to be read. Next, chronologically at least, in Peter James’s bibliography are quite a few standalones. After the Max Flynn duology James transitioned to writing standalones for many years before beginning the Roy Grace series.
