The G535 Lightspeed uses Logitech’s tried, tested and latency-free Lightspeed wireless dongle, which operates in a fuss-free and efficient manner. As the product name suggests, the Logitech G535 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset is a new wireless gaming headset from Logitech that uses its impressive low-latency Lightspeed Wireless tech to deliver up to 12 metres of lag-free coverage. Surprisingly, my discord audio testers reported that the cheaper headset’s mic was a little bit clearer sounding! Like most gaming headphones from this manufacturer, they're compatible with Logitech G HUB software, which allows you to customize their otherwise neutral sound to your liking using the graphic EQ plus presets. The 40mm drivers can deliver a booming sound, but we noticed throughout testing that the overall volume capabilities of Logitech G535 aren't as expansive as most headsets.

In 2022, Logitech reported total sales revenues of well over 5 billion dollars, largely thanks to its gaming sector generating upwards of 1.The 40mm drivers, while not being the biggest you’ll find in a headset, pump out a satisfying level of volume and bass on everything from your daily playlist to the most intensive of gameplay sessions. The Logitech offer a better-balanced default sound profile, with more bass to bring out sound effects in games. Battery life has never been an issue for me, as the 30+ hours of battery life on a full charge seems accurate.

The Cloud III are wired headphones; you might prefer them for online games since they have better mic performance. It’s one of the lightest headsets I’ve come across, and felt fantastic in use for extended periods of time. Some of Logitech’s more premium headsets feature additional mic control, with Blue Voice integration, and it may have been nice to see that here, for instance.The sound-isolation is pretty sub-par on these headphones, as I can hear a good amount of noise from my surroundings while they are on.

I wouldn’t say that the Logitech G535’s plastic body feels particularly premium, but it’s clearly well built, and if it allows for such a lightweight end product, I’m on board. On PC, all customization and updates are handled by Logitech's G Hub software suite, which features a minimal design to the point where it will only showcase what Logitech products are currently connected - in this case, the Logitech G535 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset. Sound is perceived as coming from speakers placed in the room around you rather than from inside your head.
