What an amazing book I have read other books in the Helen Grace series but this was for me by far the best yet. The dramatic reveal that tips everything on its head, blindsiding not only the characters but the readers as well. Sally Nicholls has a rare ability to tell a story from the past by making it both of its time and also accessible for today’s readers.

The ending had me clinging on for dear life and I had to remind myself to breath as you could cut the tension with a knife it that was thick.It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. I used to read many crime series, some I lost interest in over time, others became a chore to read, but this series is one that grabs my attention every time and makes me impatient for the next book in the series.

I found myself reading through the night in the hope of finishing it in one sitting, but by 5 am I still had another 100 pages to read, I put it down and picked it up again as soon as I could. Short, snappy chapters ensure the reader’s interest doesn’t waiver, and propel the story forward at a speedy pace. Families like Isabel’s went from a world were land was expensive and labour cheap to one where land was in abundant supply and labour hard to come by. A body has been found on a building site, a well-known man, mainly due to his traumatic past has turned up dead with ligature marks around his neck. I thought the end was very ill conceived and would have been better if Polly was interspersed witin the book more so that we could know her and like her thus the end would have been shocking and the bike on the roof was just silly.Although All Fall Down could be read as a stand-alone, but it’s worth bearing in mind like any long running series, you will have missed out on the backstories of some of the more established characters. Your selection was perfect for our children and what really made the difference was your ability to engage with each child, discuss their interests and help them to choose a suitable book based on your extensive knowledge of the books you were selling. I loved the group of characters that form to work together on breaking down the mystery at hand and the plot went in such a unexpected direction that left me pleasantly surprised. Do yourself a favour and nab yourself a copy pronto and kick back for an edge of your seat thrill ride that'll leave you in awe.

However, this is A case where the killer seems to always be one step ahead of the police and the victims. Several days later, Grace, Noah, Rosie and Megan break into the Scarred Man's house, where Megan documents the footage. It is the perfect type of book for transitioning young readers out of the chapter books and into the Young Adult/Teen genre. I love how some of the characters have become like friends over time, Helen is one tough lady, but she also has a softer side but just doesn’t want anyone to see it.

So sit back, make yourself comfortable and have a look around – hopefully you will find a book here that is destined to become one of your best-loved reads too. After everything Helen has been through, there was a moment that i thought maybe, just maybe, Mr Arlidge might be finally about to give her a break.

All Fall Down kept me guessing, second guessing and doubting myself throughout and I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. This book was very slow start,even though I really enjoy this series this book wasnt as good as the other books in this series so my rating is 3,5 star rating.

What segregates me from YA protagonists, and often becomes a barrier for empathy, is the fact that many of our protagonists are rather submissive. It is the first book in the Embassy Row series set in and around the diplomatic quarter of a Mediterranean capital city.
