The deodorant can supposedly last up to a year if used sparingly (as in one-to-two glides per pit), but I thought I’d at least try to use it to ensure I’m set for the day. This product is a crystal made from potassium alum - a natural mineral salt - and sits on the surface of the skin in a microscopic layer, where it kills bacteria. Ammonium alum is another one you'll commonly find in this type of product. Bottom line? We were impressed with this crystal deodorant and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and completely natural formula.The base ingredients include tapioca starch for moisture absorption and sodium bicarbonate for odour control.
