About this deal
One of the best things about the Goldfish Hood is that it's one size fits most, making it easy to find a comfortable fit for everyone. Unlike the elaborate octopus costume, Esme decided to stick to something simple – a pair of cotton leggings and a T shirt. Again, I just eyeballed the felt to cut out 2 mirrored pieces for the tail, and 2 mirrored pieces for the little strip that attached it to the onesie. The scales are orange baking cups cut in half and hot glued onto the hoodie in an overlapping pattern.I figured that spray painting on the sidewalk in front of the school across the street would get me arrested in about 4 seconds, so I climbed out my kitchen window and tarped my fire escape and started spraying with wild abandon. For the fish scales, I made a paper pattern and then used a regular pen to trace out a billion little scales. It’s also perfect for driving during the day since you’ll be wearing a 10 foot long pair of sunglasses and won’t even need your car’s airbags!

Sorry that this is a month late, but I was waiting on additional photos that are evidently non-existant. The costume is so big you could probably build cup holders inside it and just stash a bunch of beers in there and drop the empties out the bottom when you’re done with them. I sewed the mirrored pieces to each other, connected the tail to the strip, and then sewed the whole shebang to the butt of the onesie.
