Which is all to say that this Christmas Carol is an instant holiday classic, easily taking its place alongside the Alistair Sim version, the Patrick Stewart version, and even the Mr. For me, this year’s finale was rendered almost comedy~sketch~laughable by the way in which The Doctor jumped back and forth (needlessly it has to be said) trying to save the day. Follow up question: Has there been any information regarding split box sets for the upcoming split series or is it too early for that?The fantastical morality play takes audiences on a thrill ride through Dickensian London, as it tells the story of grouchy Scrooge and his refusal to embrace the Christmas spirit. But if it's an obstacle, just remember that the laws of time got a great whipping with the death of the Timelords and the Cracks. The classic is brought to life, its enchanting its magical, the film captures the look of a Dickens xmas, i rate this film very high, my only regret i did not go to the cinema to see it in all its glory, Thanks to this film it keeps the magic of xmas alive, in the past and in the future! Scrooge dismisses the apparition but the first of the three ghosts, the Ghost of Christmas Past, visits as promised. Having said that, a word of caution to parents of young children: this may be a Disney animation, but it is still a PG movie much closer in spirit to "Pirates of the Caribbean" than to "Bambi".

Like JP(first comment) I scratch my head at how Time travel is so criminally under used in Doctor Who. The Christmas “special” has been an odd affair over the years (yup, that phrase can now legitimately be used as this is the sixth of its kind) and A Christmas Carol was purty much that.Different story for the ladies with lurvely “actress” Katherine “The Skirt” Jenkins leading the way with her character Abigail. Note: Our refurbished grades - Pristine, Very Good and Good - are solely based on the cosmetic condition of the phone. When the viewer witnesses his joy opening the “tomb” containing Abigail whilst wearing a Fez or Tom Baker~style scarf (a touch which, I confess, brought a tear to my eye), we feel it too, so enthusing is his performance.
